Public Safety is Our Only Priority.

Every day your Frisco fire fighters put on the uniform, ready to risk it all to save lives and protect property.

Our mission is essential. For years we have tried to work with local leaders to invest in our community and have enough fire fighters on duty to respond to every emergency.

Unfortunately, we are still 25% behind the national minimums, and it's time to bring the voice of public safety to the table and ensure that your family's safety is a top priority in our city.

Fairness and Transparency.

The job of a firefighter requires commitment and dedication above oneself and sacrifices beyond measure. We are sworn to serve and bound by our oath to risk our lives, health, and well-being in the pursuit of life safety so that others may live.

These risks should be met with a fair process. Firefighters deserve fairness and transparency in hiring, promotions of new officers, and due process in discipline.

These common-sense principles are only guaranteed when citizens in Texas vote to adopt the law known as civil service.

Firefighters are asking voters to join them and vote FOR Proposition A. Together, we will promote positive working conditions for committed fire fighters and build on the our ability to deliver excellent service to the public we serve.

Recruitment and Retention.

Fire departments across the state of Texas and the nation are starting to feel a hiring crunch with fewer applicants. While some cities may feel the need to lower their standards, the Frisco Fire Fighters Association wants to continue to fight to recruit the best and brightest firefighters and paramedics we can.

A system of civil service and collective bargaining helps the city retain our most talented and valuable members, saves tens of thousands of dollars in lost training, and offers a clear recruitment advantage against other employers who lack these two crucial working conditions.

Join firefighters, small business owners, neighbors, and friends and vote FOR the public safety propositions.

Don't Be Misled.

Firefighters are disappointed in the misleading behavior and hypocrisy of some of our local elected officials.

For years, members of our city council have pursued the Frisco Firefighters endorsement and have readily cashed firefighter PAC (political action committee) donations. Now they're trying to rewrite their own history and mislead the public into thinking that the public safety propositions are coming from anywhere except our city's own firefighters.

DON'T BE MISLED by politicians and bureaucrats in city hall who are telling you that citizen oversight isn't necessary.

Your safety and the safety of your family is at risk as response times for critical 911 calls rise and the standards for promotions of company officers are muddled, inconsistent, and dangerous.

When seconds count, who can you trust?

Trust Frisco Firefighters. Trust your neighbors and vote FOR the public safety propositions.
